Meet Mrs. Corbin!
Hello! My name is Allison Corbin and I am excited to start the first grade journey with all of you! This year will be my 6th year of teaching and my 2nd at Teasley Elementary. To fill you in a bit, I am a proud Midwesterner originally from southern Indiana. I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University. GO HOOSIERS! After relocating and deciding to make the south my home, I graduated in 2015 from Mercer University with a Masters in Education and a Reading Endorsement.
Although Georgia has been my home for the past four years, my husband and I spend many of our weeks off of school visiting family in Indiana and Ohio whenever we get the chance! My dad is a plant manager in Kentucky for Tyson Foods and my mother is a Registered Nurse. I have a younger brother, Neil, who I am extremely close to. He also attended Indiana University and has a career in the field of Safety Management in Indianapolis, Indiana.
I have a husband named Jordan and together we have a yellow lab named Bailey. In my free time you can find me cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and Indiana Hoosiers. I also love spending time with family, friends, cooking, and boating at the lake in the sunshine. Coffee, Pinterest, Target, nail colors, and children bring joy to my life! I am so excited to start this educational journey with you and your child!
